Resort 09

I'm pretty excited because my dad is planning on taking my brother and I on a trip sometime in the spring (not like a spring break "let's all go crazy" trip, but a fun "let's get out of the snow" trip). So in preparation I've been looking at some of my favorites designers resort 09' looks. Some things I noticed about my favorite pieces was that there was there was a lot of wild patterns, statement pieces paired with neutrals, and some generally chill and relaxed outfits.

Alright, lazy blogger as I am, fashion hasn't been far from my mind. I was shopping yesterday for a dress for our upcoming school dance. Along with the dress (which is super cute!), I got quite a few other things, including on of those amazing AA circle scarves.I'm very excited to try the 12 different ways to wear it, and hopefully come up with new ones!
So I did manage to get photos of some of my favorite outfits this week, enjoy!

Halo 3 is epic

Since we bought an XBOX 360 on boxing day, I've become mildly addicted to Halo. I do realize that that may make me a bit of a dork, but I'm not too concerned about that because it is actually ridiculously fun! A few of my friends and I played it for most of the day today. haha.

"Fashion is just another form of rebellion." Sir says this while talking to his class.
I really love To Sir, With Love, it's one of my favorite movies of all time. I'm watching it on tv right now, and looking at what the kids are wearing is quite entertaining. I enjoy imagining what pieces could work for modern day and which would look absolutely ridiculous! My favorite characters in this move are for sure Pamela Dare and Barbara Pegg. They both have really amazing style!

I love to knit.

Right now I'm attempting to knit a scarf. I really do enjoy knitting, although after a few hours my wrists get mildly sore! haha. I'm quite excited about this latest project because this time I'm trying something different. I decided to use two different colors of wool. A turquoise and a brown. it's starting to look really cool :)


New years eve was alot of fun! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
